Francis F. Lin, Esq.
Education:
MBA, New York University (Stern School of Business)
JD, Brigham Young University (cum laude)
Background:
Mr. Lin started his legal career in 1994 as a corporate lawyer at one of Las Vegas' preeminent law firms (Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders). With an underlying desire to start his own business, Mr. Lin went back to school and obtained a Masters in Business Administration from New York University, a top tier graduate business school, where he majored in corporate finance and accounting. He has worked in eighteen countries while employed as a financial operations executive for Platinum Equity, a global private equity firm, that specialized in turning around financially troubled acquisitions. After his successful stint in private equity, Mr. Lin returned to Las Vegas and founded his law firm with the initial intent to serve Las Vegas' business community. Due to the substantial number of family law inquiries for legal representation, Mr. Lin expanded his practice to include family law.
His unique background in both law and business gives Mr. Lin an unmatched competive advantage in and out of the courtroom. His hands on financial operating experience distinctly qualifies him for the rigorous analysis needed for complex financial settlements and valuations needed for the division of marital assets and businesses. His background managing complicated, time-sensitive projects as well as large project teams provides him with an unique skill set helpful in negotiating and resolving family-based disputes.
Mr. Lin is a proud member of the Nevada State Bar, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Asian Chamber of Commerce. In his freetime, Mr. Lin enjoys watching his recorded television shows on Tivo, reading biographies, "BBQing," and spending time with his wife and two children.
